What will you learn?
Start to understand how your camera works. Learn how light affects your images. How to achieve a blur background. How to create motion blur. Stop using auto mode, start taking control of your camera in Manual Mode by having a clear understanding of:
Aperture
Shutter Speed
ISO
Exposure
Focus Control
White Balance
Rule of Thirds
Basic use of the built in flash
How long is the course?
This is a 12-hour class that meets 6 times - once a week for 2 hours.
What type of camera do I need for the class?
For this course you will need a DSLR camera, Mirrorless camera or Compact camera, which has Aperture (A/AV) Priorty, Shutter (S/TV) Priority and Manual Mode.
Where will this class take place?
Class will be indoors for the first hour at a midtown Manhattan location TBA. (Class location disclosed to paid attendees.) The second hour will be a hands on indoor/outdoor (weather permitting) experience implementing the day’s lesson.
